Yes, I really do. You just can't beat the camaraderie of army wives bonding together to survive a deployment. But it's more than that.
-it's the pride in my husband and his commitment to serve.
-it's the health care.
-it's the red, white, and blue.
-it's sexy uniforms.
-it's the unit events (coffees, balls, dine outs, frg meetings, unit parties, ceremonies)
-it's seeing different parts of the country intimately due to pcs moves. (4 states, 4 years.)
-it's the whole new "army language".
-it's the acceptance by other wives.
-it's the giving by the army community (helping move, watching each others kiddos bc family is far away, etc.)
-it's the big reunions with family during holidays.
-it's the job security.
-it's pwoc.
It's so much. I truly believe I am blessed to be part of one of the greatest communities in this country. Yes, there are huge sacrifices, but that's another post, another day. Maybe tomorrow :)
Lots of love,
Jessica
